We had such an amazing Easter last year! I cannot wait to continue some old traditions and start some new ones this weekend as we celebrate Easter!
Easter 2021
Easter is always a fun time! We love all the family traditions.
One of our main traditions is going to celebrate Easter at Nana's the Saturday before Easter. We always start the Day off with a Photoshoot of everyone in their Easter best. Momma normally takes the pictures, but she had a migraine, so La took most of the photos! She did a fantastic job!
Next, we change clothes and colored eggs! Everyone gets so creative. This year we accidentally made black egg color too, which caused some pretty unique eggs. This Easter was a few people's first-time coloring eggs, so it was a lot of fun watching them figure out the process. While we were coloring the eggs, the older peeps went and hid the eggs in the front yard. Once all the eggs were colored, we lined the kids up and yelled, "Gooooo," to start the egg hunt! They really enjoyed this too! Finding a lot of candy in the yard made everyone happy!
On Easter morning, we woke up to Easter baskets the Easter bunny had left us! We really got some cool stuff in them. Then we rushed outside and found all the eggs that the Easter bunny had left us!
That afternoon we went to Nanny's house and got more baskets (made special by Nanny and Pop). We had another really fun egg hunt!
When we got home, Momma had us put our Easter outfit on since we didn't get to take a sibling picture at nanas! Then we still felt like we needed a little more Easter fun, so we decorated peeps!
We honestly had the best Easter weekend possible! And we were very excited to start Spring Break the next Day! Thanks for taking the time to check out this blog and being a part of our CraZy! Until next time….
